We are looking to hold a non-legal ceremony somewhere in London. We had to cancel our original venue and have now opted for a dinner/wine bar kind of affair. However, it is still really important to us to keep our officiant and design the wedding ceremony of our dreams. Any suggestions for a beautiful place that can hold about 60-80 guests for a ceremony?

Try Tag Venue or similar... they're really good for finding events spaces. Also scout out local bars and restaurants and ask them if they do private hire.

There are so many places in London, especially East London. Agree with Caris above. There's also parks, gardens, sports clubs etc. Since you don't need the legal bit, it doesn't matter if the venue has a license!
