Change ‘where i live’ to a free text field!

I have two options for my home town, neither of which are correct! Given this is pulled through onto the front page of my wedding website, it’s a real problem. I just want “Cardiff”!! Has anyone figured out a way around this or how to delete it from the wedding website?


I have no idea why the fields on the wedding website aren’t just free text?! The user experience on this website is dreadful, or am I missing something fundamental?!
Dear developers, Please, please, PLEASE can you sort this out for me?

    Seconded! The town where my wedding is doesn't come up! So I've had to put the nearest one and the clarify elsewhere on the website which isn't ideal...

    Having the same problem - think it might be linked to when I first set up my account and used a placeholder. Even after updating the location on the 'my wedding' tab, the incorrect info still pulls through on the website

    edited to add - it's linked to the location on your profile. Each city/town seems to be linked to a wider region which is the issue for me. I just want the town (which is recognised on the auto-populate list) but I don't want the wider 'glasgow & central' region. Being able to just add our own location, i.e. venue name, would be a lot better but removing the region from auto filling would be a decent resolution in the meantime.
