Changing ceremony time

Mrs-S-to-be, 4 July, 2014 at 21:45 Posted on Planning 0 5

I've been away for a week and come back full of questions!

We booked our ceremony for 3pm but as the planning gets further along I feel like it should be at the earlier slot (1.30) - has anyone changed their ceremony time with the registrar after giving notice? How easy is it?

Thanks!

Ahhhhhhh but 3pm is such a lovely time. Guests are full from lunch, no one is rushed and everyone is happy and looking forward to ceremony. I went to one that started at half 2 and I was very glad for the extra half hour from 2. Made me want to make mine later. I

You can change the time as long as it is at the same ceremony venue and there are registrars available.

They may charge an admin fee.

All changed to 1.30 - thank you girls! I did like 3 but the ceremony venue is 20-30 minutes from the reception venue and a lot of our dinner guests are travelling a fair distance so I want the day to last!
