Charity Pins

I know that quite a few girls have had charity pins as favours and wonder if anyone can let me know best place to see about getting some. I am really looking for generic cancer research type as opposed to breast cancer etc..

Have just found out today that two of my aunts are suffering - one throat and the other cervical and both very serious. One is having voice box( cant remeber medical term) removed in next few days and the other is having a hysterectomy next week- which they are hopeful will be successful in clearing it all Added to another close relative who died from bowel cancer in past few years this is obviously an issue that our family are very touched by .

How do they work - do you make a donation or buy them at a set sum each??

    Cancer research will do special wedding favours one and will even supply a place card with your and H2B's name and wedding date etc..

    I had Ovarian cancer pins as my wedding favors, they were very well recieved too. I have suffered from ovarian cancer myself and it was a perfect little gift.

    and at £10 for 80 I thought they were a fab find, I have now sold the leftover ones and sent the cheque into the charity

    Although I have got Breast Cancer ones for my females, an other "generic" one you could try is Macmillan Cancer Care. I have been unlucky enough to lose my mum, my sister, and two uncles to cancer, and Macmillan nurses are absolutely fantastic.
