cheap bridesmaid dresses for larger ladies

Hi have you had a look at bhs or debenhams??

Where do you live? i got mine from angelique lamont in glasgow, my largest bridesmaid is a 22/24 but the dress i picked goes up to a 32. got mine on the special offer at £130. think the original price was £165.

I have just had a look at price of my CB and it was 180, she is size 18/20, i didnt think this was a bad price x

Have you tried places like simply be or Curvissa? they go up to around a 34 i think?

Also romanoriginals.co.uk do some lovely plus size evening dresses - £30-£70

Most bridesmaids dresses cover pretty large sizes but know what you mean about the price issue. I'm using a bridesmaids dress from Phoenix www.phoenixgowns.co.uk as my wedding dress and they had some lovely dresses. As well as the usual alterations they can add a lot of other bits as well - I'm getting extra structuring which your BMs might find useful.

Another alternative would be the Birmingham dress lady - search on here though mixed reviews.

You haven't mentioned colours but am hoping you're going with something that will be easy to find on the high street - your BMs could then go out and choose dresses from shops they feel comfortable buying from - does it really matter if they aren't all wearing the exact style/exact shadeof colour?????
