Cheaper versions of GHD but almost as good?

nickynackynoo, 16 December, 2008 at 20:57 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 4

I was thinking about getting straighteners for my mum's christmas but not willing to spend the money on GHD's for her. I have heard there is a good alternative that is cheaper but I paid no attention? Anyone know of any? Thanks

The Phillips Tresemme ones aren't bad, not quite GHD quality (they don't glide as well) but very close.

ETA these are the ones I have

Many people say Chi work well - never tried them myself though. I've been though enough alternatives to know it's GHD's or nothing for me!

Thanks everyone I will have a look. Lobster, I am the same, I love my GHD's and I know my mum would be the same and I don't know whether to really treat her, but it is a lot of money.
