Cheesecake -sour cream or double cream?

Mrs Vineweevil, 19 January, 2009 at 21:59 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 3

Having a go at my first cheesecake, one recipe I am looking at uses soured cream (Gordon Ramsay) and the other recipe uses double cream? which do you use? Does it make a difference? One recipe was lime and the other chocolate topped, don't know if that makes a difference????

I use double cream too. I whip it before I add it to the cream cheese. Hope it turns out ok. If it's a bit runny, just add more icing sugar.
