Chiffon dress with or without petticoat?

Hi,

I have a chiffon dress and I was thining about adding a petticoat underneath to make it more poof , has anyone done this with a chiffon dress.

I understand thats the style and they are not suppose to be poofy. does anyone thing it would look okay?

Without seeing the dress, it's impossible to tell.

But as you've already predicted, chiffon drapes, not poofs. Unless it was a very unpoofy petticoat, I don't see how you could wear one without ruining the look. And if you have to wear an unpoofy one, what's the point?
