childrens tiaras

misskd, 23 September, 2008 at 11:42 Posted on Planning 0 11

Hi I haven't posted for a while but was wondering if anyone can help with childrens tiaras.

I am looking for two, for my daughters who are flower girls, one is 2yrs and the other 5yrs.

I had got them headbands but my eldest has her heart set on a tiara, I'm having trouble finding one that we both like?, she would have a disnet princess one given half the chance.

Also how do they stay on their heads?

Thanks x

    Hi,

I have adapted my adult tiaras before to suit a child so that can certainly be done or else I have a fab mini crown for kids which is so cute and can be done in siver with colours to suit.

These are held on by a comb which is in the middle of the circular part. Our very own Meggy Winehouse from here had this in pink for her 5 flowergirls and she returns tomorrow from her honeymoon so might have pics you can see (she better have pics ?).

This headband was designed for a 8 year old and wore like a tiara and this side tiara has also been worned by children but with the stems much shorter to suit their wee heads.

All the customers that ordered these have just recently got married and I don't have any pics of them being worn yet but I will try and get some.

If you want to email me to chat about any designs feel free - ******@**************.**.** and website www.lynseysdesigns.co.uk.

The designs can be kirby gripped into the hair although I think it might be harder to get a 2 year old not to keep pulling it off and on so might mess her hair do up if it has kirby grips in it.

    Hello,

I have a few bridesmaid tiaras which can be made on smaller bands which would be suitable for a 2 and 5 year old. The tiaras have little holes at each end of the band which can be used to secure them to the hair with grips.

    Hi

I can highly recommend Lisa at www.louloubelle.co.uk.

She has made my tiara for my wedding and is currently designing me a headband for my bridesmaid.

Quite a few tiaras will fit a full range of tiaras because of the flexibility of the band this one for example https://www.3djewellery.co.uk/index_files/gold_waves_tiara.htm if you wanted to try one for size that would be possible too. they also have rings for securing. This is also a pretty tiara and can be adjusted to fit by pulling in the band by the ends to tighten the circle. https://www.3djewellery.co.uk/index_files/fleur_filigree_tiara.htm (where it says age 4 and upwards that is because the stones are classed as small parts)

    Hi

Most designs on my site can be adapted for little ones, colours changed etc.

This one is very popular with little ones:

Modelled by my little 'un here:

These haircombs could work - depending on how much hair they have, or they could be put on a band instead:

Or for the real disney princess look:

    Happy hunting!

That would have been fun! H was on robotwars with 'Robochicken' so unfortunately we have an abundance of chicken memorabillia, but no tiaras as yet - I do have a fetching yellow baseball hat with an inflated red plastic glove attached though.....?
