What is the name for all the little crisp chippy bits left at the bottom of the fryer when all the large fat chips have been served? I believe you can actually request these, although I prefer the fat ones personally. It's a silly name, but I can't remember for the life of me what it is. Thanks KJB ...

    Yes its a very small world. I think theres a couple more Mackems round these parts, but shall let them reveal themselves.

    Scraps in the North East and they are rancid - they can be really old bits of fatty batter (I used to work in a chippy)
