Christmas Wedding 2022

I have had almost the exact same experience (engaged on the 22nd and getting married on 27th Dec 2022)! We are hoping to book our photographer this week, and have already lined up our florist (family friend, so a little easier). We thought this was all a little early, but so many suppliers keep saying they are getting booked up in 2022 due to so many postponements from the past year, so we decided to get in there early to ensure we got who we wanted. x

I did exactly the same - 3rd December wedding over here! I have basically used lockdown time to book the whole wedding and have got all my suppliers booked. Obviously this is risky in the sense of not having wedding insurance yet (if we are able to get it at some point!) but am just paying for things on the credit card so there is a little bit of security. I figure that it is never too early - as Naomi says above a lot of people are rescheduling for 2022 and a couple of my first choice suppliers were already booked when I asked, so I say go ahead and book what you want to secure your preferred suppliers x

Hi, I got engaged Christmas day as well and have already booked the venue, photographer videographer, my flowers and booked hair and makeup. When I booked my venue they only had 3 dates left and when I reached out to make up artists some where booked already. I would definitely say get booking now. Plus it gives you something exciting to do in this horrible lockdown. Xx

Congratulations l! Never too early, is best 5o get booked so you know they have your date. The viffwt thing is to get your registrar confirmed, especially if you have booked the be uw alrwsy. That time of year may have less people avaliable so do get in touch with them now and pay your deposit to secure your date.i had every main supplier booked within 3 weeks of the be ie as I knew who I wanted so made sense and save stress later down the line
