Do you have a theme you could tie in?

I think a simple sash in your colours can be very effective. You could add a flower to each chair if you liked. Or have a flower on its own.

You could tie wooden hearts to the chairs (although this could be expensive if you have a lot!).

Florists pull bows are the cheapest way to brighten up the chairs, about £6.00 for 30 bows on Ebay:

I's agree with Sherrie, my church has pews then two ornate chairs for us to sit on. I bought the large pull bows from a local shop, can't remeber how much but was only a few pence per bow. I'm having yellow and Ivory alternating on the end of each pew, and then one yellow bow on the back of our chairs...
