Civil Ceremony Running Order

Yes, don't all die of shock, I have posted an actual wedding related query....

Does anyone know the exact running order for a civil ceremony? SB + I are a bit confused by the sample running order we've got from the registrar.

It goes:

Entrance of the Bride (me!)

Welcome by registrar

Vows

Legal declarations

Next set of vows

Giving away of bride

Rings

Final vows

Closing words and signing of register

...question is, isn't the giving away of the bride on the wrong place?? **confused**

Perhaps I am living up to my name and being stupid. ?

Ok this is what we were given:

1 - groom and best man are waiting at the front

2 - piper, BM's, my dad and I walk down the aisle

3 - registrar welcomes everyone and confirms OH and I are who we say we are

4 - registrar introduces herself and says the legal bit

5 - remind OH about the solemn vows we are about to take

6 - ask everyone to stand up

7 - I declare stuff

8 - OH declares stuff

9 - groom says his vows

10 - bride says vows

11 - exchange rings

12 - announced man and wife

13 - ?

14 - registrar concludes and presents us as man and wife

15 - sign register

16 - have readings

17 - walk back up the aisle

Oh me I have butterfies typing this out!!

Cheers lovely, that does clarify things for me, I think I am going to call the registrar this week as I need to ask a couple of things

We are meeting with registrar on thurs to go over it all anyway. need to ask if I sign the registrar in my new name or old name. lol!

feel calm at the min, still doesn't feel real
