Hi. We just given notice today and have been sent four choices of vows, there is no mention of husband and wife but instead it says civil partnership. Is this a new thing ? Has anyone else noticed this ? Is there any difference?

I'm so confused 😕

Sounds to me like they have sent the wrong or old info, civil partnerships hardy ever happen now as they were introduced as an option for same sex couples but now they can legally marry civil partnerships have become mainly defunct.
But you are having a civil ceremony but that will result in a marriage and not a civil partnership - is that the confusion here ?

I've just received an apology from the registrar as they did send the wrong information. They've got the date wrong twice and the time. Fingers crossed they know what they're doing on the day 🤣
