Classical Music

Kayleigh, 11 of May of 2021 at 21:56 Posted on Planning 0 5

Has anyone else used classical music throughout their ceremony?

I'm looking at Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata for while the guests are waiting, also possibly Fur Elise.

As my Bridal party enter and I go down the aisle I intend to use the first minute of Mozart's Requiem. I'd like to stay with the theme of classical on the lead out as well, but struggling to decide on what.

Wedding March Reprisal is out, its not my style, I prefer the more sombre dramatic kind of music.

Any suggestions? Tia x

We’ve got a string quartet who will play for our ceremony and drinks reception. Ceremony will mainly be classical, probably with something more upbeat for signing of the registers. Drinks reception will likely be a mix. They gave us a list of songs, but if you google classical music for wedding you’ll probably find lists of the most popular and can take it from there

String quartet... amazing! I’m not really into classical music but I do like the idea of live music to walk down the aisle to. If you don’t mind me asking- who are you using? Is it very expensive?

I’m London based and presume a lot of vendors that operate in Surrey will come into London. Thanks
