My hairdresser recommended I go to a shop, luckily we have one in town she recommended (so ask your hairdresser). I got ones with clips already attached, they are 16-18 inches long, and real hair (important for dying etc). But they matched up my hair colour perfectly. They cost me £50. I am glad I went into a shop though, as there is so many to order online. xx

I totally agree with this, go to a shop as they will colour match to your hair properly. I would also make sure that they are good quality real hair for styling etc.

I agree with purchasing from a shop that specialises in human hair extensions. They really know their stuff and can advise you. I purchased hair wefts and the clips seperate and my hairdresser sowed them on just so that she can have varying thicknesses as you can double or treble them to give a fuller look, she is also cutting them to give a natural layered look I paid around the same as Jokaty. The great thing is you get to use them again and again so worth every penny. Make sure you colour match in natural light.

My hair started breaking off about 6 months before our wedding. I only needed 2 small extensions for the sides.

My hairdresser made them for me (by sewing clips to natural hair strips)

So yes certainly ask your hairdresser for advice

I am a massshosive fan of them for volume and wear them a couple of days a week! Have done for years love them even more since I had my hair cut off and regretted it. They can look great too but get them in advance and have a play as:

    1. You may find you have a bit of a sore head or even a headache till you get used to them.

    2. You need to find out how to style them and wheres best to sit on your head.

I get alot of mine from ebay for around £25.00 for remy human hair 18" (remy is the best make IMO) ...the only time I go to a shop is if im wearing them down and straight as sometimes they are a bit thicker than the ones on ebay.

heres so pics of the different things I do with mine.. I think they look pretty natural.

This is in may afterhaving my hair cut off..

These are longer ones I had had these in and styled for about 10 hours by this point so they dont get as ratty as some people think,

And this styled more for an evening

Let me know if you want any help with them when you get them or if you want me to send some details of the ebay buyers I have used.

    xx

I wear clip in extensions on a night out and buy them from ebay. The only advise I have is always buy 100% human hair. My sister does hair extensions and says the rest are rubbish. The real hair can be washed and even coloured Smiley smile
