Coats for over dress on wedding day

You might be better with a big thick shawl that you can easily whip on and off for your photos.

Sorry no not really because the idea is that the shawl is quickly popped off for a photo without it. And then popped back over the shoulders and arms to keep warm until the next location or picture.

Its just quicker that way but if its a coat just to keep warm in between photos then anything will do if its not going to be in the photos.

What kind of dress are you wearing?

Someone we know got married a couple of years ago and wore a long wool coat and those Victorian-style button boots with her dress. She had a full-length, lacy, boho type dress, so it worked really well.
