Coffee Bar Hire for Drinks Reception, near Glasgow

Jamie, 11 January, 2022 at 16:47 Posted on Planning 0 4

We've finally got our date officially set for October this year, and I'm a bit of a coffee fiend and am considering hiring a coffee bar for the drinks reception...

It might seem odd to many, but I don't really drink, don't enjoy prosecco and champagne, and will seriously struggle to get through my entire wedding day without a good coffee! I'd love to hire a little stand or something and pay upfront so guests can have as many lattes as they like, but have no idea what sort of price this would be.

I want to get an idea of cost before I mention this to my FH, as I'm not sure he'll think it's a necessary expense :')

Has anyone hired something like this before? We're getting married at Ross Priory by Loch Lomond, so are mainly looking at suppliers in the Glasgow area.

Any information would be helpful!

Hiring a coffee bar for your wedding drinks reception can be a fantastic idea, especially if you’re a true coffee lover and want to give your guests unlimited lattes, cappuccinos, and other espresso-based drinks. Costs can vary depending on the supplier, duration of service, and whether they provide baristas, equipment, and all consumables, but for a full day at a venue like Ross Priory near Loch Lomond, you might expect prices in the range of CAD 1,000–2,000 or more for a professional setup. Some mobile coffee companies even offer packages similar to a Starbucks menu and calories style breakdown, letting guests see options and nutritional info, which can add a fun, café-like touch to your wedding. Booking in advance and paying upfront is usually possible, and many couples find it well worth it for a unique, memorable experience that ensures everyone stays caffeinated and happy throughout the day.

Hiring a coffee bar for your wedding drinks reception is definitely doable, and lots of couples choose it now as a fun, personal touch—especially if you’re a coffee lover and don’t fancy prosecco or champagne. Prices vary depending on the supplier, but many mobile baristas in the Glasgow area charge a fixed fee plus a per-head or per-hour rate, often landing somewhere between £300–£700 for unlimited coffees, depending on the package and equipment. It’s worth getting a few quotes so you have a clear idea before mentioning it to your FH, much like checking something simple such as starbucks reusable cups uk price to gauge value before committing. This could be a lovely, memorable addition to your day and keep you happily caffeinated from start to finish.

Hiring a coffee bar for your drinks reception near Glasgow can be a fantastic idea, especially if you’re a coffee lover and want to offer something different from the usual prosecco or champagne. Many suppliers in the Glasgow area provide mobile coffee bars or “coffee carts” that serve espresso-based drinks, cappuccinos, lattes, flat whites, and even iced beverages, similar to items you’d find on a Starbucks menu , like caramel macchiatos, mocha, or chai lattes. Prices typically vary depending on the number of guests, duration of service, and customization, but a ballpark figure for a full-service coffee bar for a few hours can range from £350 to £700, sometimes more if you include extras like syrups or branded cups. Paying upfront is usually possible, and it’s a great way to ensure guests can enjoy as many drinks as they like throughout the reception. It’s definitely worth discussing with your FH, as it can make the day feel extra special and tailored to your tastes.
