Colour scheme - Navy and gold?

So I was originally thinking navy and silver, but then thought maybe that was too cliche, so have then gone to navy and gold. Like the colours in the image here.

Thoughts? Are they too clashy? Do they go? Is a nicer combination than navy and silver?

    Navy and gold is beautiful. I love the look of sunflowers against navy dresses for bridesmaids.

    I'm having navy and gold too! Was originally just going to have navy as that's h2bs main colour in his tartan, but then I fell in love with a gold bridesmaid dress! I think they look lovely together and my florist has suggested some flowers to tie the two colours together beautifully.

    I love navy and gold together, such a classy combination. The gold really helps warm up the navy too

    We went to a wedding with navy and gold as the colour scheme and it was beautiful, they incorporated pops of coral into it too with flowers etc. the result was truly stunning. Good luck xx

    I am having royal blue and gold - I love the richness of the colours, and think it works better than silver.

    Thank you all Smiley smile the more images I looked using the colours the more I love it Smiley laugh also think it will work better with a summer wedding (which I'm hoping for)
