Ours are grey but I hate them because they don't go with the units

We have beige with light and dark flecks through it. Its okay, it matches our floor (light beige slate) and our doors (dark wood colour). I'd LOVE dark purple gloss doors, i've never seen proper colour worktops but i'd love a bright colour. Because my idiot H fitted kitchens for most of his working life I have no chance ever.

I have white.

Don't get white.

Looked lovely when new hasn't fared well against curry and wine spillages. We're getting it changed this year.

Mine is black but it has sparkly bits in it. I love it - they shine bluish when the lights are on. Plus it's easy to keep clean and hasn't marked at all.

Terracotta speckled I'd say. Looks so clean and tidy - this was estate agent picture before we moved in!

Love that kitchen. I don't think I would go with a blue worktop though, more because it's hard to change if you go off blue. I would stick with wood colours and accessorise in colour myself.

Excuse the clutter we had not long moved in but we I have grey matt work tops as high gloss ones do my head in and wooden ones never seem to clean properly.

Did you have wood or wood effect laminate?

we had wood effect laminate in walnut which I loved, it wasn't glossy though.
