Ooh good thread. I've got a while to go yet but here's how it's going so far:

• Give Notice - Registrar booked. Can't give notice until 1st Oct
• Choose wedding party - Done. Maybe just need an extra usher
• Organise ceremony venue - Done
• Dress - Will start shopping towards end of the year
• Suits - Not even thought about it yet
• Bridesmaids dresses - Been window shopping. Will take the girls shopping in the Jan sales, lol
• Flower girl dresses - as above
• Underwear - Not looked at yet
• Shoes - Might wait til I've chosen the dress to get these
• Jewellery and accessories - as above
• Flowers - Been looking. Not going to have many at all.
• Rings - not looked yet
• Invitations - going to make them myself. Started gathering ideas
• Order of service - will do them once I figure out what i like
• Hymns and readings (and people to read them) - we're having a civil ceremony so no hymns but we're thinking about music and readings
• Transport - Tricky one. Lots of bridesmaids and mum's in a wheelchair. Need to think about this one.

• Songs list including first dance - working on it. First dance chosen. We're going to ask each person to chose their fave love song ever and include that with their RSVP and then we'll make some CDs with them all on to play through the day.

• Favours - this is a tricky one. can't decide on anything yet.
• Cake - cupcakes and small top cake to cut. Not looked at different varieties yet though.
• Speeches - Not even thought about it yet

• Honeymoon - we're saving our £2 coins in a jar for this. Will book something early next year

I found some amazing checklist excel spreadsheets on another wedding site so not sure if i'm allowed to post a link to it on here!!

it was on the wedding ideas mag website and they are totally amazing, they do them for guest lists, table plans and a complete one for everything and you can just adapt them with your own stuff as well!

There are quite a few MIA.... and for those that are BOM's... have they bypassed OT and gone straight to BT? I can't go in there, it's scary!

• Give Notice - As today its a year till our Wedding Day, we need to sort this out!
• Choose wedding party - Done
• Organise ceremony venue - Nearly done, they wouldnt take a booking till now! Argh!
• Dress - Brought and upstairs!
• Suits - OH hasnt even thought about this yet.....!
• Bridesmaids dresses - They are all choosing and buying their own. 50s black and or white dresses.
• Flower girl dresses - My sister will be buying their dresses. Either black and white or red and white polkadot. Havent decided yet.

• Transport - We have looked into a red 50s car but we cant afford it. So most likely just a taxi.
• Confetti - Havent even thought about that! Cant really decide until I know if its allowed at the registry office
• Reception venue - My families home

• Dress - been given by a relative, needs cleaning and slight adjustments
• Suits - he can sort himself out, will organise my dad nearer the time
• Bridesmaids dresses - sister lives in Australia, so she will probably sort her own

• Underwear - not yet, too early (i go up and down in sizes depending on day of the week!)
