I'm also having betting forms for each table to have mini sweepstakes on how long the bestman's speech is.

I bought about 8 boxes and never used them ☹️

This probably came up in the 'id never have' thread, but we're having a pub style quiz, some questions general with some about us. The best man is the compiere! (sp)

I like the idea of a quiz but worried we won't get around to actually doing it on the day! When are you planning on having it?

I have seen something similar to this on a wedding site.

The couple made little cards for each guest and on each card there was an unusual fact about the person to their left and to their right around the table. I think it is a really good idea, would take some time to put together though.

Unless your guests are particularly dull, I'm sure they'll all converse naturally. Of the weddings I've attended the best ones have been where people spend money on another bottle of wine for the table than gimmicks!
