Couples fancy dress?

Hi All

Were going to a fancy dress party on saturday (talk about leaving it to the last minute), and i havent a clue what we can be. Does anyone have any ideas?

Friends are going as Shrek and Princess Fiona and Danny and Sandy, so they are out.

Ideally i would like a famous couple of some sorts - something that will be obvious what we are - dont want to spend all night explaining!

I went to a fancy dress party last Saturday as a nun.Most flattering costume ever!

A man could go as a monk/vicar but that's not a famous couple.

Really good ideas!

I like the laurel and hardy idea. Do they wear normal suits or tails?

cant be morticia, as its a standing joke that i look like her anyway.

We've always intended to go as Boycie and Marlene if we ever went to couples fancy dress. Quite easy to do I think as well. Lots of 80's stuff.
