Covid 19 - 6th June 2020

Hi

Our wedding is due to be on 6th June. We are preparing ourselves for it only being 4 people there if registry offices are back up and running by then.

We have decided if this is the case to have a blessing and reception later in the year when everything is back to normal. I just don't know how to organise a blessing - does it have to be in a church?

Any advice gratefully received x

Depends on what you mean by a blessing - if you are thinking of it from a specific faith point of view, then the best thing to do is to ask your minister. Your church/denomination may have 'rules' on whether blessings can be done outside the church or not.

Otherwise, you can have a blessing anywhere, if it's just people gathering together to wish you well, support you, pray for you or whatever you want as your blessing ceremony.
