Not very well! It's a very stressful time, and something that I feel no one understands unless they are actually going through it themselves (we have had some VERY unhelpful comments!). We were supposed to get married July 2020 before postponing to August 2021. Then our venue decided they no longer wanted to do weddings. SOMEHOW managed to find a venue that would have us on that date, but I'm not confident about them anymore because there are lots of rumours locally about them being on the brink of going bust.

HOWEVER, we are just trying to stay positive - I think that's all you can do. You WILL have your day and even if it's slightly different to what you've always dreamt of, it will still be the most special day of your life

AugustBride1994, sorry to hear what has happened. We had our wedding in Italy, Tuscany cancelled last year by our venue (August). However, we got a full refund from them. Our event insurance company did not pay out our costs we could not recover. We are now planning our wedding this year August in the U.K. Hopefully things change for the better, so we can have the wedding we deserve. Sending you positive vibes and fingers crossed things work out for you too.
