cream dress - white veil?

Josiep00, 12 April, 2010 at 12:48 Posted on Planning 0 5

If you have a cream dress, do you get a cream veil? Or do you stick to the white veil?

I don't even know where to get a cream veil from. lol!

I'd go for an ivory veil. I think a white one would look odd with an ivory dress.

Ditto. I think you should get whatever matches the dress as it might look odd. Champagne is sometimes quite close to cream (although colours differ everywhere!) so depending how cream your dress is then that might work.

Thanks guys. I thought the idea of a white veil with cream would be odd.

Bell - I think you were right that it is more champagne then cream (the dress I like that is). Maybe I should look for a veil length i like then browse the net/shops to find one similar in the right colour.

Gillsy used the wedding veil shop - they have a champagne colour option or beige there:
