Decorating reception yourself

I entertained this idea for about a day then realised how stressful & time-consuming it would be and decided against doing it myself. Also, my wedding day timings do not lend themselves to having extra time before the ceremony for me to also stress about setting up my venue.

Our florist is doing it for us as part of her costs, is that a possibility for you, rather than hiring another supplier?

When do you get access to your venue to start decorating? If you could do it the day before then it could be possible if you've got a good group of people to help you. If you can only decorate on the day then I suggest leaving it to a professional.


We are not having a lot of decor but our florist and venue are doing it within their prices.
