Decorating the Beams

Buzzee, 14 of June of 2011 at 19:23 Posted on Planning 0 2

Hello

Our venue has a small-ish room attached that we'll use fro welcome drinks, cake cutting etc. It has beams in the roof but it's not an overly pretty barn though so I wondered if anyone had any cheap ideas for decorating the beams?

Here is a pic that someone has done with some organza rolls, which could be an idea, but was after any others? Prob can't stretch budget to lots of flowers! Any ideas?

Lots of Ivy & Organza, cheap to do but effective. You could use bunches of Ivy or even holly if it is a winter wedding attched with big organza bows to soften the look.

This is a smaller scale of what I am trying to describe!

We had fairy lights around ours and in the centre of the main barn, we had different sized topiary balls with fairy lights in. Will try and dig out a photo.
