Decree Absolute - a possible whoops!

I dug out my decree absolute last night as OH and I were chatting and he mentioned they have spelt my name wrong! I've had it 4 years and at the time I just filed it and forgot about it. It's not a major mistake, just my middle name has been put as 'June' instead of 'Jane'.

I wonder if this will mean I'm not divorced??!! ?

    Don't panic! You are divorced but for the sake of completeness you ought to get it amended to show the correct spelling.

    They'll still have everything on file including your marriage certificate showing your correctly spelled name, so you're legally divorced. I'd get it changed anyway, it will just be an admin thing.

    Or you could change your middle name to 'June' by Deed Poll...
