I bought this wedding dress from coast and I absolutely love it. However as you see from the photo below I have a larger bust than the model! My idea was to close the deep v to make it less deep.
There is a some spare material as it’s quite loose on top (I’m holding my shoulders right up in the photo) however the seamstress I seen said that wouldn’t be possible due to the pleats in the material and wanted to put a panel on inside. The illusion type panel was still too revealing so she was going to make a panel from the hem material. However I can’t visualise this without thinking of someone wearing a vest top under the dress!
Im going back to the seamstress on Saturday to retry on and chat about closing the deep v again as I’ve had second thoughts on the panel.
Does anyone have before any after photos of the neck line change? Panels or just the material?
