Destination wedding ideas

Amy, 17 March, 2024 at 17:44 Posted on Honeymoons & Getting Married Abroad 1 7
Hi all - we are looking at a destination wedding for around 15-20 guests inc. us two but honestly don’t know where to start. I love the idea of a villa/chateau where all the guests can stay with us and a low key ceremony whilst there - any tips on where to start? Everywhere I’m looking seems to be a big wedding venue with wedding breakfasts etc… thanks in advance everyone Smiley smile

I've photographed quite a few small elopement (under 25 guests) destination weddings in Greece, Scotland and Africa, perhaps that's the term your should be searing for. I know you can hire-out Villas where the whole family can stay and spend a few days where the wedding ceremony can be held. Perhaps google "destination elopement venues" or something similar, hopefully you will find something. Where are you planning on getting married?

Consider looking into destination wedding options in places like Portugal's Algarve region, known for its beautiful villas and intimate settings, offering a unique and memorable experience for small wedding parties.

Start with boutique villa rental sites—look for 15-20 guest capacity in countryside areas. Prioritize places with on-site ceremony spots, skip venues pushing big wedding packages for a low-key vibe.

A lot of people feel overwhelmed at the start when planning a small destination wedding, especially when most venues push large, traditional packages. Focusing on private villas or boutique rentals is usually the best approach for an intimate group. It also helps to think more about the overall experience rather than just the ceremony itself, since spending quality time together is often what makes these weddings special. While researching ideas and inspiration online, I usually browse different lifestyle and entertainment at gomovies , to unwind during planning breaks.

Tuscany is the gold standard for your "all-under-one-roof" vision. Look for Borgos or boutique wine resorts.

Conti di San Bonifacio Wine Resort: This is a boutique hotel that feels like a private home. It has only 7 suites, meaning with a group of 15–20, you could potentially book the entire property (exclusive use). It offers a stunning hilltop pool and a very "low-key luxury" atmosphere. I really enjoy how Geometry Dash doesn't require an internet connection to play the main levels.

That sounds like a beautiful plan villa or chateau weddings are perfect for intimate, relaxed celebrations. While planning and coordinating with guests abroad, having du daily unlimited internet can really help you stay connected, browse venues, and manage details smoothly, just like the tips shared in my article.
