Did anyone get a card from their h2b's favourite football team?

I wrote to Spurs for my H and I didn't get a response despite sending a wedding card and a SAE ☹️

Depends who the team is I suppose as to whether you're likely to get a reply. My OH supports his local team who are not exactly SPL status, and I emailed them first and the chappie got back to me the same day to say sure, send a card in.

If its a big premiership club then they're not so likely to do stuff like this sadly ..... but you never know! It might just be what with the season not being actually on at the moment they don't actually have a team in to sign anything?

Pre-season traning starts soon, so they might just have been waiting til the players were actually around to sign it. Fingers crossed!

So what do you do? Do I buy a wedding card and send it to the Club (in this case Rangers) with an accompanying letter requesting that the players sign it? Is that the norm?

Celtic sent me a mini preprinted good luck card and sent me back the unsigned card and SAE I'd sent them.

Man Utd took longer but sent back my unsigned card and SAE but sent a good luck certificate signed by Alex Ferguson.

I wrote to their press offices or something I think at headquarters

Yes I did for my brother but it was from a smaller football club - Queens park rangers and I had it backl within a week, but the football season is over now so you might not get all the players autographs

I contacted Spurs to get a birthday card for my fella, and they refused point blank. They will only sign if it is for charity. Other teams I know do it though.

I got a letter of congrats/certificate from Man Utd - I wrote a while back though as its out of season now -there might not be people around to answer ??

My cousin got a letter of congrats for her H2B from Arsenal as well.

They dont respond to emails but ask you to write in...

I emailed Blackburn Rovers and got an email back asking me to send a card in for the team to sign but explaining they would not be able to do it until the season starts again properly in August.
