Did you sell or keep your wedding dress?

I'm hoping to dye mine as it's a fabric that should take dye. I keep putting it off though, as I'm a bit nervous in case it goes wrong. But I will try it at some point - I'm not going to wear it again as it is, but dyed a different colour, it would make a nice dress for special occasions as it's quite a simple style.

I'm going to keep mine, it might be that I pass it onto a daughter or granddaughter one day (I know my mum was gutted my grandma didn't keep her dress as she loved her dress, plus the style of my grandma's dress was out of fashion by the time my mum got married so a similar thing wasn't even available).

Also, I heard a lovely thing the other day - I think it was John Bishop the comedian and he said that his wife 20 years later still puts on her wedding dress every year on their anniversary, just to have a little twirl around! Thought that was lovely and I might steal the idea

John Bishop's wife is very lucky it still fits her, I am sure lots of brides cannot get into their dresses years after the big day. I bet I won't be able to! But a very sweet idea if you don't put on weight!
