No we didn’t as part of my hen do involved a trip to a cocktail bar and I wanted to be able to drink without worry. My honeymoon also included fully prepaid alcohol.

I wouldn’t try a long time before the wedding. Maybe only a couple of months as you will need to go for dress fittings and it’s easier to take a dress in than it is to let it out.

My fiancé and I were planning to start trying for a baby in April this year, our wedding is end July. I thought I would be ok with my dress (bought it in July last year) and it wouldn’t show too much. Tried my dress on again yesterday and was advised not to try for a baby until after the wedding otherwise I will have to change my dress as it just won’t fit. I’m gutted, but my dress is also my dream dress, is already paid for and would make life a lot more difficult! So we’ve decided to focus on the wedding for now and try for a honeymoon baby instead Smiley smile
