Didn't give middle name for notice appointment. Problem?

Hollie, 14 October, 2023 at 08:47 Posted on Planning 0 3

When I booked my notice appointment, it only said first and last name so I did that, naturally. However, I have realised my partner's passport has his middle name alongside his first name. As this is his proof of identity, I am concerned this will be an issue.

His other documents he needs to have all have just his first and last name.

Anybody know if this will be an issue? I have emailed the registration office to be sure but as they are closed over the weekend, I'd just like to put my panic to rest...

If it is just the booking for the appointment, you should be fine. You will need to provide your full name at the appointment - it's basically just to check that you both are who you say you are!

They will use your proof of identity documents during your appointment to confirm your full name. I wouldn't worry about the booking missing a middle name.
