Dilemma…

Rebecca, 20 February, 2025 at 17:36 Posted on Planning 0 3
Heyyy all!

This is my first post, so I’m hoping to get some help with this dilemma.
I am from the UK but my fiancée is from Poland. How do we organise a wedding to incorporate all family as much as possible. My dream wedding would be in a stately home UK, but of course I want my fiancée’s family to all make it.
Do we have a celebration in UK and something separate in Poland?

I have a few friends who have married people from other countries, and they've usually had a ceremony of some kind in each country. You can only get legally married once, but there's nothing to stop you having a second, non-legal ceremony.

We are having an engagement party in the UK and then next year having our wedding in Poland which is also better as it’s cheaper! So you can get more of your dream wedding there! Also polish weddings are so much fun!!!
