Dipping chocolate chip (or other) muffins in coffee?

HeidiHole, 16 October, 2008 at 21:05 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 12

I thought everyone did this, but apparently I'm a weirdo and a funny face was pulled.

Do you dip?

I dip biscuits, but not muffins. Don't they fall to pieces? Or is it really nice and I am going to end up experimenting now??

Biscuits are for dunking. Any form of cake dunking is plain wrong. Why would you do that to a perfectly good muffin? Why? Why?

    ?

    It is so wrong.

Anything dipped in coffee is wrong.

Now tea, thats another matter, biscuits in tea, almost any kind, yum. I blame that on my extreme tubbiness

Never tried but I know a little boy who would lie a go.

R asks for biscuit and then asks for our tea so he can dip it. He's very enthusiastic and not very fast so half my tea is full of floating bits of rich teas. Grim!

You watched me dip muffins in coffee and never said a word ?

I think you should all try it, especially wee Rhys, then get back to me. It's super tasty, especially when you get a semi melted chocolate chip. Mmmmm.

urgh, biscuit bits in the tea, i get a little distressed if i have dunkde for too ling and the biscuit breaks off. I hhhhate that. soggy biscuit at the end of your cuppa, just ruins the whole dunking experience.

I can only imagine this is like the texture of soggy bread ? although the ingredients on their own are winners for me, so I may give it a go!

Dipping of any description (tea, coffee, biscuits or muffins) is wronger than a wrong thing. The sludge at the bottom of the cup!
