Hi all. Could really use some advice. Im getting married in july and we are having a civil ceremony followed by wedding breakfast. The ceremony is at 3.30 pm. The wedding started off tiny with just 20 guests, it has now somehow doubled lol. We had decided originally to have a bit of our own music playing on the evening which h2b is happy with and for our guests to mingle and have a drink etc. Now i realise 40-45 guests is still a small wedding but i feel a bit bad about not having a proper dj etc especially as most guests have booked rooms to stay the whole night also. I actually love having a dance so kinda want the proper thing. However h2b thinks it is already way bigger than we had planned and thinks we would lose the relaxed style plus the extra expense it would be. I think the venue will be fine if we had a dance with our music playing im just not sure it would work. Not sure whether to buy some disco lights and hope for best or keep on at h2b until he caves in :-D
Anyone doing/done similar? Any advice/thoughts greatly appreciated.
