Displaying photo of us growing up - ideas needed

I was thinking of using something like this:

As I know I can use it in our house later

Alternatively, depending on the size you want:

You could decorate some freestanding letters with photos (another hitcher used this idea)

or make a mood board for display on an old fashioned artists easel (sp):

Another hitched flashed something simular to this the other day too, which was cute - her mom had made it so you could customise sizes to suit etc:

Or have a slide show / projector playing on a main screen.

One venue we viewed even had plasma TVs round the room to play the pics in a mini-film type thing - which was very cute, but a digital frame would work as well. OHs dad picked a 19" one up from our local market for £20 the other day!!

What if you dotted them around in some unexpected places (On cocktail sticks? On the loo wall? etc)?

I'm just using a big clip art frame and putting in a collarge of photos of when we were little, first together etc and photos of people and places that mean a lot to us. I was going to use a digital photo frame but thought this way it was more fun for us to put together, its meant a lot of digging around in peoples lofts for photos lol

We've got one of these, but i'm not sure it will be big enough now?!

We found these guys on ebay look reasonable and can put as many photos as you like up

Just had another random thought, for my 21st birthday my friends got this huge frame and filled it with pics of us all together and made comments - they look quite cool and can be as rough or as smart as you wish.

I saw that in Wedding ideas a couple did this to their hen/stag night pics and displayed them in the bathrooms.

Excitedbee - this is what I had originally thought about but like you say I don't think it's going to be big enough but I guess I could get a couple.

cork board from Wilkinsons, a bit of padding then wrapped the material around. mum is an uplosterer so she had the materials and the skill!

As a bridesmaid I have a very important task of displaying the photos of the bride and groom durig their lifeline , to show cute pictures of them as babies and how similar and different they were when growing up. I know that some people think this part of a wedding is quite old-fashioned, but in the age of digital things we have to rememeber to look back and admire simpler time. So, I have looked for photo collage ideas and found some cool ones to dazzle all the guests at the wedding.
