DIY Chair Covers

watsonnicole1, 8 June, 2010 at 08:25 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hi Ladies,

Just wondered if you have used any DIY chair cover companies if so which ones? I am looking at getting a DIY option as my florist used to have a cover business but sold it on a few years back so as she's a family friend has said if I get some she will dress them for me.

P.s I know, Leaving it late! I am way behind.. Waaaaaay behind! I seem to sit here for hours on end doing other brides things and not my own lol

Youve got 4 months surely thats not too late??

I had to ask what are DIY covers? As in you sew them yourself.... that would be very dedicated. Have you asked the venue ours are doing chair covers for £1 each which I thought was quite good... its a posh venue as well xx

Julia - Sorry I meant just to hire and then you dress them yourself, rather then the company coming and doing it. Our venue use a company who supply them and charge £4.50 per chair! I guess 4 months would be short notice if I was looking to book a venue dress company I contacted 2 who were both booked about 3 months ago, but I guess it's OK to dress myself (I feel better now) lol

Natty - ooh thats good, Will take a look. Thank You! x

Julia - We are having white too, I want something different from a sash really but I am finding it hard to think of something! I seen a sash with a nice diamonte buckle on the back instead of tied in a bow which looked nice. H2B actually said "what does it matter people are only going to out their coats on the back" tut tut! ?
