DIY Table decorations - Onion/bear grass advice!

sami_3r, 8 September, 2014 at 13:57 Posted on Planning 0 3

Hi there,

I am making my own table decorations, and I have bought some artificial grass to try and achieve something like this...

Can anyone give me any advice on how to get the grass to stay in place! It seems to want to slide down the bowl after a few hours.

Maybe tiny dots of glue, or curling the grass really tightly before hand??

Thanks in advance!

Hi Jo, the fake grass I bought just kept falling down to the bottom of the vase so I ended up paying the florist to do it for me with real grass.

If I had more time nearer the day I think I would have persisted, but to free my time up I thought it was worth paying them to add the real grass! You could buy your own real grass for a fraction of the price at a flower market x

You can use double sided tape or glue dots for it to stay in place
