DIY Wedding hangers - UPDATE:FLASH

Cache13, 2 of January of 2015 at 17:16 Posted on Planning 0 13

Ladies I need your DIY knowledge and advice - I want to make these, and I have the wooden hangers, but how do I go about doing one of the below? Where can I get hold of fabric flowers?

and which of the two do you prefer? (Images from Google)

UPDATE: I made them Smiley smile

I think the bottom ones will be a lot easier to do, unless you are very arty and already have the brushes and paints etc it will be difficult to get a professional looking calligraphy finish on the hangers. I actually prefer the bottom ones as well!

You could get flowers from anywhere that does cheap hair accessories, like primark. If they were hair bobble ones you could just tie it on, or if not cut the hair attachment off and stick with a strong adhesive like a glue gun or micro dots xx Good luck!

Those are great ideas thank you!! Knowing me I would have found hair bobble flowers and then pulled them off and glued them on without even thinking about using the bobble bit. That's why I love hitched. Thanks!

Thanks!! I could put these on the luggage tag label or on the hanger itself - so many decisions!

Theyre both really pretty, I like the bottom one too and also think they'd be a bit easier to make! I was looking to make some pretty hangers and these look so much easier than what I'd originally seen but still look very pretty and effective!

I'm also thinking of doing these and the second ones look amazing and very easy! Was thinking how I could get the names on so this is perfect! Where did you buy your coat hangers from? And are you gonna write on the luggage tags yourself?
