Hi all

What quotes have you all received for wedding DJs please? We are looking at a set up from 5pm and finish at midnight on a Sat night in July 2022. We have approached one person who was highly recommended by the venue and we had a video chat and he seemed really competent and has been doing it for 18 years as a main job but I felt his price is high! He includes the following:

Meeting before hand at the venue to discuss music and your wedding
Playlist can be sent four weeks before the wedding
Set up 5.00pm
Music from 7.00pm Till 12
DJ Booth & Lighting for the DJ
DMX Uplighting
LED LOVE sign
Any song you or your guests may request
All entertainment e.g Throwing of the bouquet & Cake cutting etc
PAT Tested all equipment for the venue
Public liability insurance

And it is £895. Now I know I am in Surrey ( I am a northerner by birth lol) but I wasn't sure how this compares with others locally.

Any thoughts?

    Hey,

    We have a band who then become the DJ who are with us from about 2.30pm until midnight but are almost double this, but there are 2 of them, and we are marrying in the Midlands... but as a Londoner, I would probably say this is about right!

    This sounds like a fair price for everything included. We are in Kent and ours is not much less than yours and has rustic love letters included and an app for music playlist requests etc.

    Hi Katie,

    Fizz and Groove - London DJ Hire can do all of this for £500 - minus the love letters

    Plus they have a lovely oak dj booth.

    Since this post is from March this year, we are all sorted with a cheaper DJ who could provide the same stuff for a lot less! Thanks anyway though!
