I am whatever the "foodie" version of a music lover is. I notice it in the background anywhere it is playing. I know this will be the case on my wedding day. As I have been making a list of my favorite songs, I am also making a list of "do not play" songs/artists. Did (is) anyone do this? WIll DJ's honor it? I just don't want to be taken out of the moment because some song I really don't like gets into the rotation. My plan is, to provide a robust selection of songs that he can play in whatever way that makes sense to him at the time.

YES THEY WILL!!! I am refusing the cha cha slide! Oh my. My ears. Hahahah! My DJ & band have a little section that say what not to play and what to play. It does however say in their contract that music reflects them so they will put a mixture in of what they know that works as if say all I wanted was 90s and they aren’t about that it may give people the wrong idea of what they are as a band!
