Do i change out of my dress into something more comfortable for reception

It's entirely up to you - if you've spent a lot on your dress and/or you really love it, you might not want to take it off. But if you'll feel happier in something less formal, then go ahead and change.

Noo stay in your dress!! It’s the one day of wearing it! Unless your not spending a lot on your dress but tbh even so I think you should stay in it! Enjoy being in it 😊

however I paid a lot for my wedding dress so should I stay in it?

Say if I get sweaty I would have the chance to shower and change into something else. Still debating if I will get second dress!

I desperately wanted to wear my dress all day as I spent the money on it but I got a 2nd just in case from Vinted for the evening and OMG I’m glad I did!! A few minutes after I finished my first dance I was desperate to get into it, I’d spend the whole day in it and everyone had already seen my main dress and complimented it and I had plenty of dance time in it, but I was so glad to get into something lighter and everyone went mad when I came on the dance floor! It was one of the best moments I had that day. Just have a back up just in case, you never know how you will feel & and sold it on Vinted again after the wedding! Win win!

This is a very important day, so I think you should wear it.
