do you break wind in bed?

15 August, 2008 at 13:58 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 23

Mr p swears he doesnt but i know he does because ive heard him.

when i told him he had a smelly arse he vehemently denied it, and said it was rude to break wind in front of a lady(i looked round at this point to see who he meant), so he always does it in the toilet or the car.

he reckons i do it loads which i readily admit to,but apparently im odd and no other female he knows does it.

so do you or do i need my arse clearing out?

Lets just say I would admire a person who can honestly contain bodily gases to certain times/locations ?

All the time! Mr W wasn't impressed this morning when he moved the duvet and 'broke the seal'...

Yes but then we both sleep in separate beds in different bedrooms so it doesnt make a difference!

We break wind in front of each other at home if we are feeling a need (better out than in) but when we have guests or are with others then no we dont, I'll go to the loo if Im in desperate need.

The answer to that question is yes, we both do! ?

Theres nothing worse than holding farts in IMO.

And im not ashamed to admit it! ?

I don't get this "not-farting-in-front-of-your-partner" thing at all.

How can you be intimate with someone, but leave the room to break wind? Unfortunately, everytime I roll over and we do spoonies, the pressure makes a trump brew. So long as I give him chance to move before doing it, he doesn't mind. And if I was bothered by farting, I married the wrong man. He's in the process of teaching the girls how to throw "pump grenades"

WLTP said - At the begining of the relationship it is embarassing but holding it in is horrible, it hurts!

If it's just H amd me, yes, and often competitively. Especially now I'm up the duff and my digestion has gone haywire.

In polite company, certainly not. I'll hold it in until I can sneak off to the loo.

This morning as we were leaving for work my husband let rip in the porch, after the inner door had been closed, thus trapping the most evil fart in our lovely new porch. I bet it'll still be there wating for me when I get home ?

You mime pulling a pin out of a grenade with your teeth and throwing it. Then you block your ears and fart, the noise of the fart being the explosion.

We try not to in a desperate effort to keep the romance and mystery in our relationship (I blame my mother for instilling this into me) but since I had our son all mystery and dignity has vanished along with the fact our 3 week old has the loudest and most violent farts I have ever heard so I have a feeling the no fart zone in out house is well and truly out the window!
