Stuff like ..... scampi in a basket ? Just been having a silly conversation about stuff that was mega huge in it's day but nowhere to be seen now. Chasseur burgers - what happened to them - they were all the rage in the 80's. Typical night out for a meal was prawn cocktail starter, chasseur burger...

Chasseur burgers - what happened to them - they were all the rage in the 80's. Typical night out for a meal was prawn cocktail starter, chasseur burger and chips followed by black forest gateaux and fresh cream all washed down with Asti Spumante!

    Always used to remember my mom talking about Cherry B, always wanted one, still never had one.

    Used to serve Park Drive and Snuff to a lady when I worked in a newsagents.

    Oh god yeah, Cherry B! Does anyone remember Ronco and Ktel? They used to invent rubbish gadgets and flog them on TV all the time and everybody got them for Christmas and they never worked!

    Ooo how about that cereal, I think it was called lucky stars! yummy yummy, but then disappeared, another one that I think you can still get in america, just not here!

    Definitely remember the Wimpy Bar although we idled most of our time away in Grecian type coffee bars drinking frothy coffee listening to The Beatles on the juke box!

    I also recall S+H Pink stamps........quite hard to collect a book full as so few retailers did this alternative to green shield.......

    What a great thread this has turned into!!

    My pal got a tent with all her parents ebassy coupon, about 1000 were needed, and my dad got me my kenwood food mixer lolol.

    rolf harris - his swimming advery used to freak me out, dont know what it was, but I didnt like it. Maybe it was the wrinkly foot at the end??? lolololol..... if i wasnt so sleepy im sure I can think of a billion other 'what happeneds....'

    I remembered knockers last night!

    2 hard plastic balls on a peice of string that banged together, I remember a flood of broken wrists when they came out!
