Does anyone have a quick beef bourge-wotsit recipe

Ali_G, 11 December, 2012 at 10:51 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 6

Hubby wants beef bourgi-thingy for dinner tonight. We bought steaks 'cos I don't have the time to slow cook the beef.

Does anyone have a recipe to do the bourgey quickly?

Gosh even that quick recipie seems a lot of bother!!

How about just eat the steaks!? Pepper sauce, onion rings and home made chips?!

I don't think there is a quick way to do beef bourge the longer it stands the tastier it is too. I would go with ATB's suggestion! No messing about and it will be yummy!

I read this as a beef burger with wotsits. I'm tired. I need an early night!

I made one and it was yummy.

I adapted the Gordon Ramsay recipe slightly, and had lovely rare steak slices in a red wine sauce. Was beyootiful!

You can make a quick beef bourguignon-style dish using steaks by slicing them into strips, searing them with garlic, onions, and mushrooms, then simmering briefly in red wine and beef stock with a touch of tomato paste—ready in about 30 minutes! It won’t be as rich as the traditional slow-cooked version, but it still delivers great flavor. Think of it as the fast-track version you might enjoy before checking out Gordon Ramsay restaurants prices for the real deal.
