My 4 year old *** was spayed on Tuesday. When we picked her up from the Vet they told us that she was having a phantom pregnancy but went ahead with the op anyway. Took her back for her post op check on Friday and they have prescribed Galastop for her as she still has lots of milk and very swollen teats.
We gave her the first dose yesterday and today she is really down. She is not wanting her usual walks, not eating, shaking and just generally depressed.
Is this normal? How long will it take her to perk up again?
