Dogs at wedding

I have shot a few weddings who have had their dog with them. A couple have had the dog deliver the rings down the isle tied to their collar. Some have just had their dog in the ceremony room. I have never seen one in attendance in a Church though, also check your venue are ok with it.

I find most tend to arrange for their dog to visit after the ceremony to say hello during drinks and photos. Most I have seen wear a dicky bow or nothing. I actually shot another one at yesterdays wedding but I can not show those yet as the bride and groom have not yet seen them.

We have just booked That's Pawfect Wedding Chaperone for our wedding in August 2022. Our dog Arthur is 5 but still very bouncy so we have opted to have him just at the drinks reception and for photos - then That's Pawfect, owned by Diane, will take him back to our house and she will pet sit him in his own home. In my eyes she has the dream job!!
